I have acne on my chest, and its not very attractive.

Do any of you know of maybe a home remedy that would help it go away? Or some kind of cream I can put on it to make it clear up?

Thanks in advance! (:I have pretty bad chest-ne, I need a bit of advice. (:?
Any acne cream for your face will also be effective on your chest. :)I have pretty bad chest-ne, I need a bit of advice. (:?
Doctors have so many cures fo that. My friend took some pills for it and used some creams; it went away. It's very curable. Go out there and look around.
The same reason some people also get Acne on the face: clogged and irritated pores. Often, body acne is the result of Cosmetic Comedogens, Drugs you may be taking, or a condition called pityrosporum folliculitis or ';Sweat Acne

Many products, even those not normally associated with the skin, can cause Acne on the body. Some shampoos, conditioners, and other hair care products contain heavy greases or other pore-clogging ingredients. Others do not wash off completely, leaving a residue after rinsing. When you sweat, these pore-clogging ingredients and residue can trickle down the skin. When this happens, they clog pores and cause acne. Acne caused by comedogenic hair care products often exhibits where hair regularly touches skin: the forehead (especially if you have bangs), the cheeks (near the hairline), the nape of the neck, and the upper back.Soaps, body washes, and body scrubs may also contain comedogens. Some also do not rinse off completely, and left-over residue can clog pores. Some massage oils and exfoliating scrubs used in some spas also contain pore-cloggin ingredients. This can be especially problematic because massage oils are rubbed into the skin well through constant friction and heat, and stay on the skin long after the massage (particularly if you don't shower right after). This can cause a break-out if the oil is comedogenic. Exfoliating scrubs may also contain abrasive scrubbing agents. If they are too abrasive, they can irritate pores and cause infections鈥hich can clog pores and cause acne. Lotions, creams, self-tanners, sunscreens, glittering body gels and similar products can also cause body Acne if they contain comedogenic ingredients. Similar to massage oils, these products stay on the skin for a long time, allowing any comedogenic ingredients ample time to settle into pores. Unlike massage oils, these products are usually used every day, which increases your skin鈥檚 exposure to pore-clogging ingredients. Acne caused by soaps, body washes, scrubs, massage oils and lotions often exhibits where the skin has been most exposed to the product, and where the skin perspires more: the chest, back, arms, and bottom. Deodorants or Antiperspirants with Aluminum Zirconium can cause Granulomas, or skin bumps. Shaving, plucking or waxing the area can also cause bumps and ingrown-hair. Alternatives: Essence Skin-Saving Superwash Hair and Body Care and Elation Natural Skin Spa Hair and Body Care. Some prescription drugs can cause Acne. Ask your physician about potential Acne side-effects when being prescribed a new drug. The condition of ';Sweat Acne'; or Pityrosporum Folliculitis (PF) is caused by a the pityrosporum fungus. It is a naturally-occurring fungus that feeds on human sweat but that tends to proliferate in some people, especially if you tend to perspire heavily. PF therefore appears in areas that perspire most: the back, chest, upper thighs, buttocks, and upper arms.

Switching to non-comedogenic Essence and Elation products will help. So will active therapy with Id Beta-Hydroxy Clarifying System for Men and Women , particularly Id Sweat Acne and Overall Antibacterial Monolaurin Gel This special gel is clinically proven to be as effective as popular anti-fungal treatments for PF (in studies, it showed 100% efficacy in clearing PF), but because it is so gentle to skin, it can be used for longer periods of time, for sustained therapy (which is important; PF is notorious for recurring when therapy is stopped). As well, Id Gel keeps skin cool and matte to help prevent sweating and, cosequentially, the proliferation of the pityrosporum fungus. As with all skin conditions, we recommend that you see a Dermatologist for proper diagnoses and treatment options (you may need internally-taken, prescription medication. Consult a dermatologist if you think you may have ';Sweat Acne
